St. Francis Auditorium

107 West Palace Ave.

Housed in the NM Museum of Art, with a capacity of about 400, the St. Francis Auditorium is a uniquely “Santa Fe” venue. The Pueblo Revival building was designed by the Rapp brothers and completed in 1917 of stuccoed brick. The woodworking on the massive beams and latillas was done on site. The murals of Santa Fe’s patron saint, St. Francis, were commissioned from NM artist Donald Beauregard and were in position upon the buildings completion. Mr. Beauregard studied the French academic style during a stay in Paris. The St. Francis Auditorium’s quiet, honest grandeur is a wonderful setting for concerts.
